We have over 30 years of handling snapped, jammed, broken and mould affected tapes and cine film.
Most tapes are able to be fixed and transferred and we can extract tapes stuck in cameras or VCR machines.
We can also repair and transfer if the case (shell) is broken, or the magnetic spools are loose.
Mouldy tapes can also be cleaned and transferred.
There may be a charge for this.

DVD Recovery
We can often recover home-recorded DVDs that freeze, skip or fail to play correctly. While not every damaged disc can be recovered, we can frequently rescue recordings before they are permanently lost.

We can offer a DVD recovery service, if we can't recover any data there is no charge.

How long will it take?
Usual turnaround about 14 days.
Fast express 12/24 hour turnaround available
Bulk jobs can take longer as tapes are transferred in real time.
All work is carried out by ourselves with care and attention to detail at our secure home studio. No work is sent out or contracted out.
My tape is stuck in the camera/recorder. My tape is jammed/snapped/mouldy.

Where are you?
We work from home in our secure home office in Selsdon Croydon South London
We offer free local pick up and delivery
If you would like to drop off your tapes, call us for an appointment, we're open outside office hours!
Do I have to pay upfront or leave a deposit? How do I pay?
No payment until job is complete.
No charge for blank tapes or TV programmes
Bulk discount available
Payment by bank transfer, cash or cheque
Do I get my tapes back?
All original tapes are returned to you - this is your back up in case your digitised media becomes damaged or lost. Keep your original tapes - they are your master copies!
We highly recommend you back up your newly digitised DVDs or mp4 files
Mp4 files are kept by us for four weeks then deleted.
Can I post to you?
We are a UK wide and international transfer service.
You can send to us by courier or Royal Mail but please make sure you use a tracked service (NOT recorded delivery), or we can help you arrange a courier to collect and deliver back to you.
